Each contender will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test (Pre and Mains) of the Online Main examination. Also, a minimum total score is considered for the interview. Based on the number of vacancies available, IBPS PO Cut-Off decides and candidates are shortlisted for an interview.
Before completing the interview process, IBPS Exam scores will not share scores obtained in the Main Online Examination with the candidates shortlisted for the interview. The candidate should qualify for the Online Main Exam and discussion, and be sufficiently high to be considered for the final appointment. Therefore, the final selection is constructed based on the candidate’s marks in the IBPS PO Mains Exam and Interview (Mains+ Interview).

IBPS PO Exam Pattern for Prelims
Instead, the IBPS PO Prelims are at the stage of the IBPS PO Recruitment 2022. Here is the screening round.
- The Prelims Stage of IBPS PO will have three sections with a total duration of 1 Hour.
- There will be a total of 100 Multiple Choice Questions.
- Candidates will have to qualify for each of the three tests by confirming minimum cut-off marks to be decided by IBPS.
- A good number of candidates in each category, as decided by IBPS depending upon requirements, will be shortlisted for the Online Main Examination.

IBPS PO Exam Pattern for Mains
It is the 2nd Stage of the IBPS Exam. The candidates who will qualify for the Prelims IBPS PO Exam will occur for the IBPS PO Mains Exam 2022.
- IT has four sections for the IBPS PO Mains Exam. and an additional quarter of the English Language, which the English Language will take separately on the same date of the exam.
- The IBPS PO Mains Exam will have a total of 200 MCQ’s of a total time of 3 Hours.
- There will be separate timings for each IBPS PO Prelims Exam section.
- The candidates will have to pass separately for each test/section.

Introduction to Descriptive Test: 25 Marks
Firstly, IBPS has included the defining test of 25 Marks in the PO Mains Exam. Not only that, but the candidates will have to write an essay and a letter with 25 marks. IBPS PO Syllabus – Interview Round
Candidates who have been shortlisted for the Online Main examination for CRP-PO/MT- will subsequently be
called for an Interview conducted by the Participating Organization and corresponded by the Nodal Bank in each State/ UT with the help of IBPS. Interviews were conducted at select centers.
- The total marks assigned for the IBPS PO Interview test are 100 marks.
- The minimum qualifying marks in the interview will not be less than 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWBD candidates).
- The weightage (ratio) of the IBPS PO Online Main Exam and interview will be 80:20, respectively.
- The combined final score of candidates shall be arrived at based on scores obtained by the candidates in the Online Main Examination of CRP- PO/MT-IX and Interview.
- The candidate should qualify for both the Online Main Exam and interview.
