CTET 2023: Notification, Exam pattern, Syllabus, Eligibility: CTET is a national test for eligibility exam that is administered through the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The CTET exam usually takes place twice every year to assess the qualifications of applicants for appointments as teachers in Classes 1-8 in Central Government Schools such as KVS, NVS, etc. CBSE will conduct the CTET 2022 exam. CTET 2022 exam on the internet using a test using a computer test (CBT) method.

2. What is the CTET exam

3. CTET exam eligibility

Candidates must satisfy the eligibility criteria set by CBSE to be able to apply online. The minimum age for appearing for the CTET exam is 18 years old. Education qualifications are listed below.

Qualifications for Class I-V Elementary Phase (Paper-I) Candidates must have completed Senior Secondary or an equivalent with at minimum 50% marks and have passed or be in the final year of a 2two-year Diploma of Elementary Educational (or) graduation with at minimum 50% marks and the degree of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed).

Qualifications for Class VI-VIII Elementary Stage (Paper-II) Graduation and passing or appearing in the final year of 2 year Diploma of Elementary Education. (or) graduation with at minimum 50% marks and being able to pass or appear in the 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).

5. CTET exam pattern

CTET 2022 Exam will be conducted in two phases:

  1. Paper I
  2. Paper – II

Paper I is for those who are hoping to become teachers in the classes 1 to 5. Paper II is designed for candidates who want to become teachers in the class of 6-8. Candidates are also able to apply for both Paper-I as well as Paper-II. The questions that are asked for each Paper I and Paper II are objective multiple Choice Questions. Candidates must be able to score at least 60% in order to pass the CTET 2022 Examination. The most important thing to remember is that this CTET score is in effect for the duration of a lifetime, according to an announcement by CBSE.

8. is CTET valid in all states

CTET will be applicable to all schools under those of Central Government (KVS, NVS, Central Tibetan Schools, and so on.) and also schools that are that are under the administrative oversight of UT’s in Chandigarh, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu and Andaman and Nicobar Islands Lakshadweep as well as the NCT in Delhi.

9.CTET Teacher Salary

Candidates who have passed the CTET 2022 Exam will be able to apply for positions for classes 1-8 at Central Government Schools such as KVS/NVS, and other schools as well. The minimum salary for CTET certified teachers ranges from 9300 and Rs. 9300 and 34800. 34800 as the base pay. The salary net in-hand for a CTET certification is between 35000 and Rs. 35000 to the amount of Rs. 50000 per month.

10.CTET Selection Process 2022

The selection for CTET 2022 will take place in accordance with the marks scored on CTET exam. CTET exam. In the following points, the specifics of the procedure for selection of CTET 2022 are provided:

  • The selection of a candidate is based entirely on their performance at the CTET test.
  • In order to be selected in any of these institutions as a teacher, candidates must be able to score more than 60% on the CTET.
  • The exam is not a requirement to guarantee employment for the candidate. Candidates must bear their eyes on the possibility that they will need to be able to apply for jobs in various schools.
  • The CTET certification is valid for 7 years, so the candidate can apply anytime when the certificate is valid.
  • The candidates who have not qualified for the exam can make as many attempts as they want.

11. How many marks are required to pass ctet

The qualifying marks for the CTET 2022 exam are decided by the exam conducting authorities. Candidates will be considered qualified if they obtain a score of 60% on the test. Since the CTET exam 2022 is worth 150 points, all candidates who earn a score of 90 or higher will be considered eligible for lifetime certificate.

12. Are there any negative markings in ctet

Both Paper I & II of CTET contain a total of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) each. 1 mark is awarded to correct answers and there is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
