Firstly, we know that Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana, popularly known as KVPY. which is a scholarship program funded by the Department of Science and Technology of the Government of India. The KVPY scholarship program aims to encourage students to take up research as a career in basic sciences. The program offers the selected students scholarships and contingency grants till the pre-Ph.d. level.
Qualified students of the KVPY Exam become eligible for the fellowship. and admissions into institutes like IISc and IISER on some extra criteria. The KVPY exam has three streams, i.e., SA (for class 11), SX (for class 12). Also, and SB (for first-year BSc students). The KVPY application process has four steps: first registration, second application form request, next fee charge, and lastly, check the application level.

KVPY Marking Scheme for SA, SB & SX Stream
Basically, there are three streams in the KVPY exam:
- Firstly, SA, SB, and SX. The question paper for each of these three streams has two parts.
- Secondly, one mark has been added for every correct answer in Part I, and 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
- Thirdly, In Part II, two spots will be awarded for each correct answer and will reduce 0.5 effects for every wrong answer.
